Q: How far in Advance should I book my wedding?
A: Many weddings are booked several months and often a year or more in advance. We recommend you book your wedding as soon as possible to secure your wedding date so no one else takes it.
However, we can also accommodate weddings on a whim, such as elopements and vow renewals. The more flexible you are with your desired last minute wedding date, the easier it shall be to get your wedding scheduled. We perform Weddings 365 days a year.
Q: Where is my ceremony taking place?
A: The beaches in Alabama do not have an address number, only a name.
Your wedding ceremony will take place at our favorite Beach for weddings in Orange Beach, at the Alabama Point / SHELL LOT, is located across from the Orange Beach Helicopters - 28273 Perdido Beach Blvd
Q: Do we need a marriage License?
A: Yes, the two of you will need to apply - in person - for your own Alabama marriage license (unless you are having a vow renewal). You can do so in any court house annex in the state of Alabama. The license is around $70.00 and it is good for 30 days from the date it is issued. You can be married in Gulf Shores or in any other part of the state, no matter where the license was issued as long as it was issued in Alabama.
OUT OF STATE COUPLES: To our couples from out of State we recommend to arrive at least one business day prior to your wedding date, to take care of your marriage license.
Q: Getting married in Orange Beach - Gulf Shores. Where is the nearest marriage license office office?

TIP: You may stop by the Court House on your way into town and get your marriage license before arriving to the beach to save you some driving time.

Q: What are the requirements to obtain our marriage license?
A: Fee: $70 (cash only)

Q: How do I send you a contact form ?
A: We're happy to answer questions you may have via our contact form on this website. To submit a contact form you must first create a quick user id and login. We have been slammed with hundreds of spam emails from spam bots that have tracked this contact form online. All this SPAM mail is taking time away from our wedding planners, that could be better spend taking care of our Brides and Grooms. Q: What if we need to cancel our wedding because we had something come up?
A: Deposits are non refundable. However, you may reschedule to a new date as long as your event occurs within 6 months from your original date. (New reschedule date has to be a date that we also have availability) Please see our cancellation policy page or your event agreement for details.
Q: I paid my wedding deposit, when do I need to pay my balance?
A: For Ceremony Only wedding events, you may book your wedding by paying 100% at the time of booking or reserve your date with a non-refundable 50% deposit, the balance will be due 45 days before your wedding. If your wedding date is less than 45 days before your date of booking, your wedding payment is due in full at the time of booking. If you have a ceremony & reception package, your final payment due date is 45 days before your event date, however you may have other payment due dates as well , depending on the type of payment arrangements made with our Accounting Office, so please see your event agreement for specific dates.
You will be required to sign your wedding/event agreement and return it within 3 business days of making your online deposit. Your event agreement will arrive to your email shortly after you complete your online deposit. Your wedding agreement contains the full written description of all services ordered as well as a complete disclosure of all terms and conditions for the services you have ordered. Remember, your event booking is not complete until your signed agreement is returned! The document can be filled out securely online using your computer, phone or other touchscreen device and it will automatically be emailed to us on our secure server and a copy will be mailed to you as well, upon your completion of the document. For your protection , we use "DocuSign ®" electronic document services, to ensure that all information shared between us via your event agreement is secured and encrypted.
Q: Can we have alcohol on the beach?
A: No, there is no alcohol OR glass of any kind our our beaches per Alabama State Law.
Q: Can I have flying wishing lanterns on the beach for my wedding?
A: No, there is no fire of any kind (includes wishing lanterns), sparklers, bonfires, clambakes, etc, on Alabama beaches by Alabama State Law.
Q: I want to bring my own rose petals, can I do this?
A: Yes, you may. Please keep in mind that the use of artificial rose petals is prohibited. Any artificial flowers left on the beach or any litter will cause harm to the local wildlife (turtles and birds may eat them get sick and die). Please use only natural / biodegradable items for your wedding, such as rose petals. by Alabama State Law,
"Please leave only footprints when you depart".
Q: Can I bring my own music to my wedding ceremony?
A: Yes, you may. However, Loud music is not allowed on Alabama beaches. You may bring an I-pod and small speakers, or have a family member/friend play an instrument such as a guitar, the flute, sing etc. We always suggest to take into consideration the duration of the ceremony.
Q: When will I get my wedding photo CD?
A: Picture CD's may take up to 4 weeks. We have many events and weddings that we take photo's for and are processed as quick as possible.
Q: What if I am late for my wedding?
A: - You and your wedding are very important to us, therefore it is imperative that your Wedding Ceremony begins ON TIME.
- You and your guest should expect to arrive at the beach 30 minutes before the ceremony time
- Please plan ahead for possible traffic on the road
- There may be other wedding(s) scheduled after yours, also the minister and/or photographer may be scheduled for other events, if you are late by more than 30 minutes, your wedding may have to be reschedule to our next available time.
